Boesmansgat Cave in the Northern Cape is said to be the 3rd deepest submerged cave in the world, with a depth of 283 meters at an elevation of 1550 meters above sea level, and is for experienced divers only! Boesmansgat is a sinkhole and is now filled with clear cold water and is the perfect place to do a cave dive while on vacation in South Africa.
