The Billabong Pro Surfing takes place annually in Jeffrey’s Bay, while the Mr. Price Pro takes place in Durban.

HORSE RACING

South Africa boasts 2 prestigious horse racing events. The J&B Met takes place in Cape Town in January, and the name says it all for the annual Vodacom Durban July.

TRIATHLON

For the truly fit the Half Iron Man takes place in East London in January followed by the Spec Savers Iron Man in Port Elizabeth in April.

RUNNING

Other top athletic events include Two Oceans Ultra Marathon (April), Knysna Half Marathon (July), the Comrades Ultra Marathon(May), and the Joburg City Marathon (May).
